Golden Pheasant is the beautiful bird. It is native to the mountainous forests of western and central Cina. It is also known as the 'Chinese Pheasant'. The bird is one of the popular species of pheasant.
Male Golden pheasant did have a golden-yellow crest with a hint of the tip and face, throat, chin, and the sides of the neck are rusty tan. This bird's other characteristics are central tail feathers, black spotted with cinnamon, as well as the tip of the tail, being a cinnamon buff and it has a scarlet breast, scarlet and light chestnut flack and underparts.
Female Golden pheasest
The female golden pheasant bird is much less showy, with a duller mottled brown plunge similar to that the female common pheasant. This bird is darker and more slender than the hen of that species. This bird usually lay 8-9 eggs at a time and incubate these around 22-23 days.
This bird is commonly found in zoo and aviaries but often as hybrid specimens that have the similar Lady Amherst's pheasant in their lineage.
