Should Retirees Worry About Bear Markets?

Bear markets hurt everyone. Unfortunately, they are a natural part of market cycles. They are exaggerated by the actions of the Central Banks which makes the pain worse.

The upside is also extremely beneficial.

The question is should retirees worry. This was pondered by a couple of analysts.

To truly get to the bottom of it, we must take into account that returns are variable AND the amount taken out on a consistent basis over time as the bear is recovering.
