Happy Beach Wednesday From Ventura Beach

I attended the wedding of a friend and co-worker last weekend. It was my first "beach wedding". The couple provided flip-flops if you wanted to use them, but I strolled out onto the sand in my oxfords and suit. It was a beautiful ceremony and I had to choke back tears as the couple read vows they had written. Later, at the reception atop the nearby Crowne Plaza Hotel, I took this picture. You can see the chairs and wedding arbor in the corner. The reception was every bit as nice as the wedding. All in all, a great wedding and a great way for this adventuresome couple to start their life's journey together!
