El nido—A 100 dollar paradise
Yes! You have read it right. Going to El nido will only cost you a hundred bucks for instance that you’re traveling alone. El Nido is a Philippine Municipality in Palawan. It’s known for its white sand beach and beautiful coral reefs.
A bus from the city of Puerto Princesa to El Nido will cost you only 8 dollars and a good accomodation will cost you around 10 to 20 dollars.
The best thing that you can do in El Nido is island hopping. It usually cost 24 dollars for the best tour package. Tour A is one of the most popular island hopping tours. During the day, you will discover beautiful lagoons, beaches and snorkeling spots where you can swim and admire the corals, and its hundred of fishes species. The tour will start from 9 am to 4pm. The lunch will also be provided during the tour and It includes a lot of seafoods.
By nightime a decent seafood meal will cost you 20 dollars, take note that this meal is good for two people.
Back then I was lucky enough to get a 15 dollars worth of round trip plane ticket from Manila to Puerto Princesa.

I'm guessing it is much more than that today. All prices have gone up significantly from what I understand. Maybe $100 per day while there, but then you have transportation costs to contend with.
Hello! I’ve been there recently and there are still a lot of cheap lodge and inn that cost under 20 dollars. The transportation would only cost them 0.50 dollar. It really depends on the person travelling on how their going to spend their money but what im saying is a hundred bucks can give you a great deal package on this island.
