THE POWER OF ENEMIES
I hear somebody say I have many enemies, well Congratulations! That's a s sure sign that you are worth something and you are going somewhere.
People who are nobodies in this world hardly get noticed, but anytime your status is announced, you become a target of the enemy. It is an obvious truth that enemies don't think much of you. They want you destroyed at any cost. They hate you in spite of your virtues.
The truth however, is that your enemy is paralyzed and immobilized at your presence. Never let the presence of enemies upset, distress or distort your focus.
Enemies are as good as your friends. In their attempt to destroy you, they end up exposing and popularizing you. Through this, they open great doors of favour and opportunities for you. Without enemies, your name will never enter certain places.
THINK OF THIS....
√ Where would Joseph and Samson have been without an enemy?
√ Where would David and Mordecai have been without a Goliath and a Haman.
√ Where would Martin Luther King Jnr and Nelson Mandela have been in the world history without opposition and detractors?
Enemies can turn nobodies into somebodies. Therefore A man's greatness can be measured by the number of enemies he has. Don't run away from an enemy. He who runs away from a fight will have to another day. The enemy you conquer today can make the difference between obscurity and significance.
You can't ride a camel unless it stoops for you. Don't stoop for your enemy.
REMEMBER....
- The first enemy you must conquer is Yourself. Cicero said, "Man is his own worst enemy".
- The second enemy you must conquer to be over and above is Ignorance.
- Third enemy is fear and
- The fourth is Poverty.
If you can conquer these, you can afford to treat other enemies well because you will outlive everyone of them.
You will have the courage and strength to stand in the face of every opposition without losing sight of the Purpose. And indeed you will live your Purpose.
REMEMBER....
The Hammer does the knocking, but the Anvil lasts longer than the Hammer.
It takes both Friends and Enemies to make a truly great MAN.
I will remember this word:
The first enemy you must conquer is Yourself. Cicero said, "Man is his own worst enemy".
The second enemy you must conquer to be over and above is ignorance.
Third enemy is fear and
The fourth is Poverty.
