Bengal was thereafter the bottom for British growth in Asian country. From 1773 its governor-general was the chief government of British Asian country; from 1834 he bore the title “governor-general of India.” The province region to the northeast was joined to geographic region from 1838 to 1874. In 1854 the govt of Asian country was separated from that of geographic region, although Calcutta remained India’s capital till 1912. With the tip of British rule 1947, state, Bihar, and Odis ha became a part of the Republic of Asian country. East geographic region became Bangladesh, however in 1971 it separated from the parent country to become the freelance state of Bangledesh.
