Mir Mahammad Jafer Ali Khan,known as Mir Jafer,was the commander of The Nawab Siraj Ud-doulah's army. He betrayed with the Nawab in the battle of Plassey(1727,23June) and supported the British army(Robert Clive).As a result the nawab of Bengal was defeated and killed.Then Mir Jafer becomes the first nawab of bengal with the support of British East India Company.
