Battlegames.io

www.battlegames.io is a social media site built on top of the Steem Blockchain. The site utilizes SCOTBOT from the Steem-Engine platform to deliver BATTLE tokens to our community of content creators.

To use our front end sign in using your Steem account, we strongly recommend using Steem Keychain to better secure your keys. Keychain will also allow you to manage your BATTLE tokens directly from your browser. However you don't have to use our front end at all, you can use the front end of your choice! All you have to do is add the #battle tag to your gaming content and it will appear on battlegames.io!

BATTLE Token

Curation of Blockchain Gaming content is done through our token called BATTLE. Tokens will be rewarded to posts within the #battle tag in a similar fashion to the way PalNet and Splintertalk work. The larger your stake of BATTLE tokens the more influence you have on content curation, the larger your vote, and the more tokens you can earn through content curation.

Each post written will have a 5 day period where users can vote on it's value. As users vote, the post's value will go up or down based on the amount of BATTLE they have staked in their wallet and the consensus on the contents value. After 7 days the resulting value will be paid out in a 50/50 split between the content author and those who voted up the post [curators].

As users earn BATTLE, how they are used is up to you! You can stake them in your account to increase your influence and the size of your vote, use them to enter Battle Games Splinterlands tournaments and mini games, or you can trade them with other users on the Steem-Engine Exchange.

Token Distribution

There are currently 5,000,000 BATTLE in circulation with a maximum supply of 30B. To seed the network, SCOTBOT will be paying rewards out of the un-issued coins as an inflation based rewards system. In addition there will also be a distribution of BATTLE tokens to a number of different accounts with the aims of improving the reach and growth of the network and to assist in the curation of Gaming Content.
