Greece name different roster for FIBA World Cup qualifiers
Greece have named a strong, but unfamiliar side for the first window of FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
They will send a group of players that while have individual experience, are unfamiliar with how to play in a team environment.
There will be no Panathinaikos nor will there be Olympiacos stars competing in this first window.
The Greeks begin their World Cup qualifying campaign away to Great Britain on Friday, which is followed by a home game against Israel in Crete, Monday.
