Sports Stars In Person. The Day I Saw Lebron in Person

I will never forget this day.

It was 2006 and I was a freshman in high school. My dad and I were headed to Ohio for our yearly Cedar Point trip. We loved to ride roller coasters and usually went once every year. It's the way we bonded. As we made our way into the park I was excited and couldn't wait to get on the rides.

We usually started our day with the Raptor as the first roller coaster ride. It was one of the first coaster when you first enter the park. We got in line and began to wait as it slowly dragged forward ride by ride. Way in the front I saw a bunch of people with cameras and they were surrounding someone who was very tall and wide. I couldn't see that great from the spot I was in. I stood up on the rails and got a better look. It was a tall guy with a headband on his head. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Lebron James in the flesh.

I began to panick. My favorite athlete was in the same line as me for the Raptor. He was absolutely swarmed by fans and they slowly recognized who it was. He had 2 of his friends with him and they were dancing and having a great time while they waited in line.

It was a memory I will never forget.
