Paul George has been traded to OKC
In a shock move, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne is reporting that four-time All-Star Paul George has been traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a blockbuster deal that will see Victor Oladipo and Domanatas Sabonis sent to the Pacers.
Paul George had been the subject of much trade speculation over the past few weeks with the 27-year-old forward stating his desire to become a free agent during the next off-season. He had mentioned in the past that the Los Angeles Lakers would be his preferred final destination in 2018 but had been linked with many teams this summer including the Celtics, the Cavaliers, the Wizards, and the Rockets.
He will join up with OKC's 2016-2017 NBA MVP Winner Russell Westbrook who made headlines by averaging a triple double during last season.
