Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

When we launched Steem Basic Income, we started with a contest to make it widely available without people having to pay to join. The Daily Sneak still sponsors 2 to 5 people every day. With this history, we are thrilled to see so many members picking up the baton and holding contests to decide who to sponsor into Steem Basic Income. Great job, everyone!

Checking Registrations
To make it easier to verify your share counts (or figure out who to thank if you have more shares than you thought, we added a Transactions tab (TXIn) to the web sheet that shows all the members. You can search for your name and figure out how many times you have been sponsored (or by whom!)

yes, if you are giving away shares in Steem Basic Income, use the tag for your post. If it's still running when we do our next contest list, we will include it.

Votes are done based on your shares. If you have only one share it is likely you won't get a vote on all your posts if you post daily.
There is only so much voting power regenerating per day ;)
The output is based on shares, not on number of posts. 10 posts per week get the same $ upvotes as one post.
It should still be an upvote on every post, it's just a question of which account it comes from. His upvotes come from @sbi2, so he is not recognizing them.

I just signed up and sponsored a friend but I realize I mistyped their name in my comments! I accidentally put a space between the @ and their username. I hope that doesn't mess things up if you're using some kind of API magic to do this...
