The Five Commandments For The Prophet Khidr
Prophet Khidr a. not including the 25 prophets that must be known. But his story is recorded by the Qur'an and becomes a very valuable lesson. The story of the Prophet Khidrs dreaming of receiving these five commandments of Allah is recorded in the 1001th Muslim Story.
In the dream the Prophet Khidir was told to walk westward. And the commandment: First, eat what you see (face). Second, hide what you find. Third, accept what comes to you. Fourth, do not disappoint that comes to you. Fifth, run away from what is found. "
The next day the Prophet Khidir carried out the order. But after a long journey, in front of him that looks is a hill. He remembered the first commandment, eat what was seen. He is confused, how to eat the hill? But after coming closer and resigned, the hill with the permission of Allah Swt shrink to as big as a handful of bread. The Prophet Khidir took and mounted the hill.
"Alhamdulillah, I have succeeded in doing the first command. Hopefully Allah Ta'ala makes it easy for me to accept the lessons implied in it, "said the Prophet Khidir 'alaihi salam.
The next trip of the Prophet Khidir a. found a bowl of mas. He immediately dug up the ground to hide the bowl. But after being dumped, the bowl reappears to the ground. So on. Finally the Prophet Khidir left him.
On the next trip the Prophet Khidir a. a small, frightened bird came across. As ordered to receive what came, the prophet Khidr hid a small bird. Before long came a hawk who asked, "Sir, do you see a small bird? I am suffering hungry, show me where the little bird is hiding."
As further instructions do not disappoint that comes, the Prophet Khidr a. also conferred with eagles and small birds. As a result, there is a small bird's body part given to the eagle. After that they went home. And lastly the Prophet Khidr met with a carcass. Because of the last order to leave, the Prophet Khidir went immediately.
At night the Prophet Khidir wanted to be given understanding of the five commandments he had done. As he fell asleep he dreamed, this is the meaning of the five commandments: First that looks great and is told to eat it anger. As much as anger, if you are patient, it will shrink and be able to cut by yourself.
Both bowls mas symbol of goodness. Although hidden, good will remain visible. Third, the little bird to be received is symbolic mandate, accept and do not betrayed. The four hawks symbolize the needy, give them even if you need them. And fifth, the carcass is a symbol of ghibah and other ugliness, leave it immediately.@
