Greetings. P.O. Tassium, Publisher of the Banana Memos, here with a special installment... a compilation post of curvy, yellow fun stuff.

The Banana Collective has made lots of new friends and we've met plenty of fun-loving, banana-minded peeps here on Steemit, or "F.O.B.s"
That's "Friends of Bananas," and you all are truly a bunch of outside the peel thinkers!

Readers frequently drop pictures, videos, gifs, factoids and interesting bits of banana-related info in comments to us. We've been collecting all of the cool 🍌 stuff, and will share some of it with you from time to time. (You can see our last collection here)


First up is this emotionally intense declaration of a man's love for his favorite fruit, dropped on us by @vdux. We like this so much, we've already used it in some comments and in our post, Memorable Lines #5.

This, from @squishysquid, who appreciates how style-savvy we can be:

You know that phrase, "These are not your grandma's bananas"? Well, in this case, they were. @evlachsblog wrote us a story about the saba bananas her grandmother gave her when she was little, ensuring she would grow up strong and healthy. Way to go, Grandma!

And @bifilarcoil reminding of us that of all the banana-loving girl pop bands in the 1980s, Bananarama tops the list:
