Bamyan’s tourist attraction - Part 2
Shahr-e-Zahak, also known as Red City - which is located at the east of central Bamyan province of Afghanistan - is another eye-catching site of the province. This city has been attributed to legendary Zahak who has been mentioned in Shahnameh, poet book of Ferdawsi.
This city was made on the cliff of hills and its walls are still in place.
Band-i-Amir is consist of seven natural dams which are tourist sites. Afghan government named this place as "Afghanistan's First National Park" in 2009.
Band-i-Amir is place where people from across the country and other countries go to enjoy their time. Its depth is still unclear.
This beautiful dam and its clear water is an appropriate place to breed fish, but fishing in here is completely forbidden.
Bamyan's handicrafts are renowned throughout the country and abroad.
