Lucky bambo (fu gui zhu)

The Chinese name for lucky bamboo is fcalled fu gui zhu.

Fu is called luck and fortune

Gui is called power and honor

Zhu is called bamboo

Lucky bamboo is actually dracaena family and not bamboo and is a gift of good fortune as it looks like bamboo but is grow as a houseplant. A gift of lucky bamboo symbolizes the wish for a strong life filled with prosperity.
