We spent most of our time in Ubud. There are lots of great restaurants in that town, but it is a couple of hours from the beach. More of a jungle setting, absolutely spectacular. I use Tripadvisor constantly to find good restaurants. Ubud is great since it is very walkable and you can get to most restaurants in the main section of town within 15-20 minutes. You gotta try melting Wok, right in the middle of Ubud, it was my favorite restaurant on the island, check out Bridges in Ubud for a higher end meal and an incredible view. We just went to happy hour in their bar and it was spectacular. I'll be doing another post about cocktails in Bali soon. Almost as amazing as the cuisine!
