Baisaran Valley Pahalgam
The Baisaran Valley is one of the most picturesque and serene places located just 5 km away from Pahlagam in district Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. The Baisaran valley is often referred to as mini-Switzerland because of its mesmerizing and picturesque beauty. Surrounded by towering mountains and blanketed in pristine white snow with a horizon of pine tree shrouds. Visitors can explore the valley on foot or hire a pony ride, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying the peace and quiet. It also serves as a base camp for trekkers going to Tulian Lake which is a trek of 2 days further onwards. You can also enjoy stunning views of Pahalgam town and the Lidder Valley from here.
One of the first places to stop and rest when visiting Baisaran valley is at the Valley view point. From here, you can get a stunning view of the Lidder River. On the way, you’ll also find a beautiful waterfall. There are many spots along the way where you can have tea or Maggie, or to take photos in traditional Kashmiri pheran.
Another beautiful place where you can rest is the Kashmir valley point. This vast and mesmerizing meadow offers a stunning view of the Kashmir Valley – perfect for anyone who wants to relax and soak in natural beauty. It is one not in the ABC Valleys which are accessibile by cars.

Best time to visit Baisaran Valley Pahalgam
The best time to visit Baisaran depends on what you want to experience during your visit. If you’re interested in enjoying the snow, the best time to go would be from January to March. However, if you would rather enjoy its greenery and pleasant weather, April to June with a self drive cab or with a chauffer driven and as well and onwards would be a better time for you to visit.
How to Reach Baisaran Valley Pahalgam
The picturesque Baisaran Valley is 103 km from Srinagar you can hire a cab here, and just a 5-kilometer walk from Pahalgam. You can also take a pony or horse ride to reach Baisaran from Pahalgam main market. If you love walking and can walk uphill, you can reach Baisaran in around 40-50 minutes.
