THE BAHAMAS FACTS AND HISTORY

Hello to my all readers today my blog is a connected chain to explore Caribbean Islands .So my first country to discuss today is BAHAMAS .
Before starting history is very important to discuss.
HISTORY:
Before going to discuss there independence lets go back to 1703 to 1718 .The NASSAU the capital of Bahamas is the heaven of pirates because there is no governess so it is taken by 1000 pirates most famously the pirates of Caribbean.

Do you know the most famous pirate Edward tech aka Blackbeard had its base at Nassau.

Britishers rule Bahamas over 325 years. Finally at 10th July 1973 Bahamas got independence under the leadership of Lynden O.pindling but even today head of the state is Queen Elizabeth II.

FACTS OF BAHAMAS:
The state of BAHAMAS is most political stable country in the world.The word Bahamas from Spanish word which means shallow water or sea.The total area of BAHAMAS is 5,358 square per miles.It consist of 700 islands,islets( a small islands) and cays. only 40 percent of islands are inhabitant by people and 70 % population is in providence islands.

New providence is the most important island and NASSAU is its capital .Its total population is 274,400.The official language is English and Creole .The official currency of Bahamas is Bahamian dollar that is approximately equal to US dollar and its really strange for me .....then I got my answer most of the country GDP earning is its tourism.It earns 1.3 million by its only tourism and employs directly and indirectly employs fifty percent of the workforce .

One fact that make me love more this beautiful country due to this fact that is there is no income tax or incorporate tax in this country and it is one of the richest country of Americas..
JUNKANOO a celebration of freedom for slaves every Christmas is the biggest national cultural showcase .The parade goes all the night long into the early next morning..

Atlantis resort is the most exotic resort for tourists.

Dean blue hole is the deepest blue hole in the world and the 2nd largest under water chamber .
