Two more videos from drain water.
The first shows a clump of algal strands with a mass of bacteria swarming around it and the second shows two amoeba slithering around. I showed another amoeba in a previous post but these may be a different variety as their movement is a little different and somewhat slower.
Unfortunately the image quality isn't the best. The drain water is quite dirty and suspended particles disperse the light but some large particles also keep the coverslip from sitting close to the slide so its harder to bring everything into sharp focus.
