Thank you for keeping up to date on this. I think it hits home for me so much as I have lived (at various times) over half my life at various times in Tucson. I am familiar with the porous border and the way Tucson is used as a hub, being only an hour from the border. Those here illegally do not take any pains to hide it there, and one can mingle with them at the Swap Meets there. Especially the one on the reservation (Westover) next to Chicos. It is only natural that if they get through, the ones who traffic in children and drugs are as well. And of course, it has been documented. What wasn't before was how bad this really is. Just an occasional story, folks assumed it was known and going to be solved now and forget about it. Lewis and VOP remind us daily no one is nor has been solving anything.

Lewis is definitely passionate, and is the perfect instrument for God to work through. I have to wonder if anyone with less passion could have lasted this long in all the cross hairs he has been in.

Every good person out there "wishes" we were actually doing something hands on to stop child trafficking. But we know only crazy people do that, the rest of us "gave at the office" to some org or other to shift responsibility off of ourselves.

I am hopeful that enough of these people will at least wake up and make this dialogue grow until the government is forced to stop supporting this.
