Is there a Pre-Earth Life??

Recently I became a father to a beautiful little girl. This has been one of the best experiences of my life but it has left me wondering quite a bit about life before we were born.

Many religions claim we existed before manifesting in this physical body while other beliefs state we simply evolved from microorganisms.

Well, the birth of my child has left me wondering even more about this as from the first time I saw her sleep she would smile or get really angry in her dreams. Babies can't see much for the first 6 weeks and here, a mere few hours after her birth, she is expressing emotions. What could she possibly be dreaming about as she has not even experienced life as of yet?

This "witness" has left me with 2 options. First: There really is a place that we came from and she is remembering the time there. Second: Reincarnation is real and she is remembering her previous life. Personally, being Christian, I believe she is remembering her time with God before she came here.

Either way, this has been a witness to me that we existed before we came to the Earth.
