in #aws6 years ago (edited)

As Cloud Computing adoption matures more and more businesses small, medium, large and enterprise are pushing the envelope to take advantage of it.

The promise of one click button solutions seems to be on everyone mind and honestly the idea is not far fetch.

Cloud computing was born with the idea of getting to market quickly, in AWS you are able to build complex infrastructures in hours not days using the Infrastructure as Code.

There are so many tools to automate infrastructure creation such as Cloudformation, Terraform and AWS CLI just to name a few.

However, this powerful ability of speed creates additional challenges when not properly implemented.

In some cases, the proper planning of Security, Compliance and Cost Optimization is an afterthought.

Although Security and Cost Optimization is one of the five pillars of AWS Well Architect Framework most companies are totally focused on the automation perspective of it.

In this multi-series post I will go over some of the tools within AWS ecosystem to allow you to come up with your own framework that will also work for GDPR.

Stay tuned as data privacy is no longer a matter which should be taking lightly ....
