His Journey (Father's Day Special): Shine A Stranger's Shoe to Live

in #autobiography6 years ago

My father was born in a place where the mountains could be seen from a distance. The sound of crashing waves were can be heard nearby. And their household was known because of the popularity of their surname on the land of Bohol.

Actually, our surname was known because of our relatives known in governing some cities in Bohol. But my father didn't like the politics, he choose to study Agriculture than Liberal Arts.

The name of my father is Bonifacio M. Piezas. A simple man with epicanthic folds traced on his face. He was born on the 30th day of November 1964 in Tubigon, Bohol. He lived in a poor life where he should move for his own to support his own sustenance. My father is a man of absolute principles. I inherited his views in life and he became a good leader based on how he guide his co-workers in the company where he worked for.

When he was young, he needed to move like an adult in order to survive. He shined strangers' shoes. He worked hard for his own foods because his parents weren't financially successful in life. No one taught him. He realized everything when he began chasing for his own foods.

"Work hard to live," said his parents.

Then he did. He performed everything just continue living.

He went to Davao City, the place where we are currently living right now. He went to a stranger who gave him a sponsored scholarship in college. The Agriculture was the only available course for him that time. He grabbed it and became enlightened in different things in life.

The strangers around him helped him in different ways. He had lived in a way of showing dignity just to look for a better place of enlightenment.

Then he purchased a house in a rural area. There, he began blooming children with my mother. They lived happily.

But his story never ends...
