The Interior of the Castle in Austria - Das Innere im Schloss Münichau!

Hey guys, some of you asked me if I could share some pictures from the inside of castle Münichau, of course I will :) I decided to go in to explore the inside before checking in :) Nowadays the castle is used as hotel and restaurant. However, the castle owners "Harisch Familiy" grew up and are still living in the castle. Family Harisch succeeded in the five-hundred-year-old architectural monument without violating the style with great taste and attention to detail to transform this building into a modern noble hostel. I made some pictures of the inner rooms, floors and corners and you are able to convince yourself of the beauty and cozy castle atmosphere.

The foyer greets its guests with furniture that were designed like furniture from the Middle Ages

The corridors in the castle were all very similar

I noticed many fireplaces in the castle

The gangway lamp spreads light in the stairwell

Honestly, I had to be careful all the time, not to overturn anything. I am a very clumsy person :P

It was foggy and I could not see any mountains out of the window

The tour in the castle itself was very exciting for me, because every door leads us into a new realm :)

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Einige fragten mich in den Kommentaren, ob ich ein paar Bilder vom Schlossinnenbereich teilen könnte, aber klaroooo :) Zu unsere Zeit im Jahre 2018 ist das Schloss Münichau als Hotel und Restaurant auch weit über Österreichische Grenzen bekannt. Das interessante ist jedoch, dass die Schlossbesitzer selbst im Schloss wohnen und sogar darin aufgewachsen sind. Familie Harisch gelang es mit Erfolg das fünfhundert Jahre alte Baudenkmal ohne dabei den Stil des Schlosses zu verletzen mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail in eine moderne Nobelherberge umzufunktionieren.
Viele Bilder knipste ich in einigen Räumen, in Gängen und Ecken, damit ihr euch selber von der gemütlichen Schlossatmosphäre überzeugen könnt!

So lasst uns rein gehen:)

Das Foyer begrüsst seine Gäste mit Möbeln, die glatt aus dem Mittelalter entsprungen sein könnten

Die Gänge im Schloss waren alle recht ähnlich

Kamine waren zahlreich vertreten

Die Ganglampe verbreitete Licht im Treppenhaus und schmückte damit gleichzeitig die weissen Schlosswände

Ehrlich gesagt musste ich ständig aufpassen, um nichts umzuwerfen. Ich bin ein ziemlicher Tollpatsch :P

Ich schaut aus dem Fenster, um festzustellen, dass es draussen neblig war. Und somit waren die Berge nicht zu sehen :(

Der Rundgang im Schloss war für mich sehr spannend, denn jede Tür führt uns in ein neues Reich :)
