When to use a Linear Phase EQ | Music Production Tutorial

Ever wondered when it's best to use a Linear Phase EQ over a "normal" minimum phase equaliser?

I recently wrote an article about it on the Unlock Your Sound Blog

Here is a quote from the article...

Minimum phase EQs move the relative phase between frequencies. For example, if you were mastering an orchestra using a minimum phase EQ, it will change the Phase (time) relationships between frequencies.

This should start to give you an idea of why sometimes it's (but not always) best to use Linear.
