The polling has been neck and neck. The race is rated as a toss-up. The Mark Robinson scandal won't just help Josh Stein.

Last time a Republican was Attorney General in North Carolina was 1975. The last two Democratic attorneys general went on to become governors of the state. If Josh Stein wins in November, that would make it three.
