When a fool keeps quiet.

The saying goes, when a fool keeps silent, he is considered wise. The interesting irony is that sometimes when the wise keeps silent, he is considered foolish. We live in a world in which people look out for what things they can do to get away with. And so long as they can get away with something, it becomes their pre-occupation. We have bullies, tyrants, and jerks, who push people around because they can do it and get away with it. If you are someone like me, who is small and speak softly, we become easy targets for such people. So when the time is right, we must show people that the fact that we are gentle or quiet doesn’t mean they can do whatever they want. We may be silent but we are not stupid! We may be peaceful but we are not pushovers! We may be calm but we are not cowards! We may be down-to-earth but we are not doormats! Let no one look down on you because of your gender, race, stature or job. Let no one mistreat you because of their academic, social, financial, political or economic status. Be strong!
