How Can You Make Your Attention Be More Focused?
"How can you make your attention is your energy?" has become a common question among busy people. It means it is time to learn what you really want from life. If you are asking yourself this question, I am sure the energy that you are trying to achieve is being blocked by some obstacle. In order to get your energy, you have to discover what that obstacle is.
You will probably realize that your attention is being occupied with something you do not want. The key is to use your energy in the best way you know how. When I say the best way, I mean that you have to learn how to focus and take action. You have to learn the principles of focus in order to generate positive results.
Focus - One of the most important lessons in life is focusing. Without which, you will never get anywhere. Focus means seeing, hearing and feeling things that go beyond what you perceive and sense. In other words, you have to bring to light the things that are blocking your attention from going where you want to.
When I was younger, my attention was very distracted by the TV. It all happened so fast. If I did not pay attention, then my mind would move to something else. In order to get it all back under control, I would redirect my attention.
There are many activities you can perform that are focused and gives you control over your surroundings. The first is sitting quietly and listening to classical music. Sometimes it helps to think about something that you like. If you are thinking about your work or what you want to do, you are diverting your attention from the object of your attention. By doing this, you will slowly start to divert your attention from the object that you do not want to observe, and move towards those that you wish to observe.
How can you make your attention is more focused? Just find something that you wish to observe, and start looking at it with an objective point of view. Do not allow yourself to become sidetracked. Continue to look at your object of interest until it becomes uncomfortably close to you. Once it becomes out of your way, pull your attention back to the object and remain there.
You can also use your hand or any object to direct your attention to something else. For instance, if you are reading a book, hold the book with your eyes focused on it. Then, bring your attention back to the book and hold it there for a few moments. Repeat this several times. This will confuse your mind as to what you were reading and will allow your mind to be focused and on task.
Finally, the key to success is to just keep your attention where you want it. Distract yourself by focusing on another activity for very little time. The trick is to get back to the important things that you want to happen, but are having trouble getting around.
