Did you withdraw cash from ATM Machine ?
There are 2 types of Public ATM machines actually. And those are:
- Swipe machine
- Insert machine
With swipe machine you have to hold your Card and you will just rub/swipe into it's sensor area, and you will try to withdraw the cash. Normally it doesn't happens. But hackers/spammers are always looking for security holes always.
The swipe sensor is outside area of atm machine whether insert machine type will have a hole to insert. There are some few news money have been stolen from those types of swiping machines. As I think spammer can set a tiny device into it to know your card number. And they will manage a keyboard to find your password too. You can see it in image that I have attached.
According My idea, inserting machine is so secure and it's very hard to set anything inside where Card goes. So just be careful.
