The lost city of legend is Atlantis

According to legend, the glorious city of Atlantis sank to the bottom of the sea due to a natural disaster. The city was mentioned by the Greek philosopher Plato in 360 BC in his book ‘Dialogue Timeous and Critious’. According to the text, the island of Atlantis was located at the foot of the Hercules Pillar about 9,000 years ago. Atlantis occupied much of Europe with its powerful naval capabilities. But they failed to occupy Greece. A few days later, one night, the sea sank into the sea.

There is still considerable debate among historians as to whether the Atlantis incident described by Plato is merely a myth or a true one. However, according to Plato's Critious, he heard the story from Solon, a famous Greek political figure in the sixth century BC.

In hieroglyphic script in ancient Egypt there were some documents about Greece and Atlantis which were later translated into Greek. And Solon got the idea of Atlantis from here. However, many scholars believe that Plato was inspired by some ancient war stories to create the story of Atlantis.

Although no one thought of Atlantis in ancient times, historians now take it seriously. Some explorers believe that the island of Azores may have been the ruins of Atlantis. Where various ancient installations are scattered under the sea. Many people think that the Plato descriptions are similar to these installations over an area of about 413 miles.
