at the drive in
I am stoked, because today is the day I finally get to see At the Drive In! Ever since I saw the "One Arm Scissor" video way back in 2000-2001-ish , I have been a huge fan. I dove into the catalog and found a deal on-line to buy every album they had released at that point in time, quickly finding out that "In/Casino/Out", was one of my all time favorite albums. They played in Cincinnati, OH shortly after this discovery and then called it quits immediately after the tour. I had unfortunately missed the show, because I had to work that night. After that they split into two different bands, The Mars Volta and Sparta. The Mars Volta would become one of my favorite bands ever. I have seen them quite a few times, with one of those times witnessing Herbie Hancock sitting in on keys. Anyway, check out those bands if you haven't ever heard them.
