The Theme:

This week's theme = BLACK & WHITE! The photos must be in black and white/grayscale. The subject, however, is complete unlimited! It can be houses, factories, cars, trucks, airplanes.. whatever! Just as long as it's man-made and it's abandoned. The feel and tone of black & white imagery may really add to some of these cool abandoned shit photographs; I can't wait to see what you guys post!

My Thoughts:
Once again lots of great entries this week. I actually think this week had the MOST entires so far. Thanks to everyone for participating, and a special thank you to our judge @daveks for putting the time and effort into reviewing all of the entires and picking this week's winners. When I first heard of this new contest, I thought to myself- what a cool and original idea! Abandoned and old stuff has always interested me, especially old cars and tractors.There were tons of great entries submitted, as we all know, art is subjective so my choices were based on what I’d like to see hanging on my own walls, and that’s why I made these decisions! FINAL THOUGHTS
I really enjoy bringing in guest judges to this contest. It's great seeing different people choosing different entries that appeal to their specific taste. There are a few winners I, myself, would have also picked this week, but a few I would have chosen differently as well. It's healthy for the contest to mix things up like that. Again, if you didn't win... don't be discouraged. There will be a lot of these contests with lots of different themes!

Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest - №. 8 will be announced tomorrow (Tuesday) and look for the official contest post to see what the week's theme will be! I'm so excited and I hope you all join in, once again! Now, I'm off to distribute prizes!
