All souls are pure and innocent, it's all matter of how close with or far one is from their soul, the true decision maker as unity of love, truth and peace, hence why same qualities we can recognize in others. The awakening in Christ Consciousness is that realization and identification with one's original, core, and integral Higher Self instead of only identifying as I am of their ego formed by five senses of lower animal survival and procreation awareness, the I am That I am cult of wrathful Demiurge & Co.

Same as divine feminine and masculine have to be symbiotically balanced in unity within every woman and man, as well as the couples they form, the lower ego self of every one is also has to be equally in harmony by ascension of lower awareness of self in the world to the unity with Higher Self by way of rising Consciousness.

Thus at first and its core life is driven by instincts of collective Subconscious powered by forces of nature, then self awareness that forms ego then as I am That I am, Super Ego of one and only Lord God of the matterial plane, so-called Yaltabaoth aka Satan (administrator in Sumerian or adversary in later Hebrew interpretation), then Consciousness proceeds upwards to become aware of the Absolute Source whence it originates at and returns to, Christ Consciousness of fully awake being, Buddha, therefore finishing cycles of birth, death, and reincarnation.
