PENCIL BOX PERISCOPE | Bengali
Here is a very clever way of making a simple periscope. You just need a cardboard pencil box, two mirrors, two rubber blocks and some tape. First remove the pencils from its card box and then cut off both the end flaps to make a rectangular tube. Cut only the TOP layer from both ends at a distance of 4-cm. Then bend both the cut ends at right angles to the main body. Apply glue and wait for it to dry. Then stick two rubber blocks as shown. The rubber blocks will ensure that the two bend ends stay at right angles to the main body. Now place two mirror strips and place them at 45-degree angles as shown. Secure the mirrors to the periscope with tape. Your simple periscope is all ready. You can view outside things or better still sit below the table and view all the objects kept on the table.
