Sun
Hello, dear Steemians.
I wanted to show you my art piece. This is my painting- "Sun".
I put a lot of love into this painting.
I finished this painting in April, but I did not have time to put it on Steemit before, because I had to learn for the exams.
I did not have a well-defined idea of how this painting would look. I can say that it was spontaneous. Still, I did not have a problem with the facial features. Here you can see some initial phases of the painting:
I used acrylic paints and eyeshadow (copper color). For the first time I used a golden acrylic paint and I can say that I'm thrilled. At the end, as I always say, I covered the painting with lacquer. Lacquer really gave beautiful shine to painting and protect colors. For the background I used a thin brush that I taped on a canvas to create the impression of the universe. I also used a thin brush for the face, for precision. Size of canvas is 40x30.
I hope you liked it.
Have a nice evening. ☆

What catches my eyes in this piece is her red hair and eyes. The color of her two eyes varies.

I wouldn't call myself an afficianado of art -- but this grabbed my attention when I saw it. There is something bold about it... and yet also fragile.
Perhaps it's the title.... one would expect to see a woman with golden hair and shining visage... and yet I see a woman that may be happy, but also there's some kind of sadness in there as well.
And then... is she a clown...? Getting the whole Bowie/Aladdin Sane vibe from her too.... and I just can't work out is she happy or sad....
Anyway, loved it. Good work. Looking forward to seeing more your artwork on my feed.

She is not a clown, she is my vision of the Sun as a creature.
Thanks for the compliment.
