Old McDonald had a farm...part 2
In this post I'll be sharing a few more farm animal commissions I have carved over the years. Continued from part 1 you can see here:

This one was based off of the famous "American Gothic" painting.
Here it is at the finished stage. A very happy customer picked it up.
And this is before paint..
This was a previous commission by the same customer as above. I believe the family had a pig farm.
A wedding present for their daughter and new son-in-law. Dancing pigs, a fun piece to carve for sure. Depicting the movement was difficult but I think I was successful.
Couple more pictures at different angles, it really shows the movement when you walk around the piece.
Another commissioned piece was this chicken, of which I've done many of the same. This was my most recent.
This was just before paint. I liked it better without paint as I feel sometimes the piece can be ruined by painting..
The customer was happy so it didn't matter much. It matched the colors she wanted.
I did have a turkey to share but will save that for a post in itself.
I love what I do and I'm happy to share here on Steemit.
Hope you enjoy seeing what I saw, if so feel free to upvote and resteem. Thanks for looking

Incredible work @jonatftforest. Where is your shop located?
Thank you @mourningnoodles shop is in central NY.
Really? I knew I felt that Eastern vibe. I used to live in Westchester. I wonder if I came across your shop at some point. Spent a lot of time in Newburgh.
Newburgh is about 4 hours southeast of us, we are 11 miles north of Utica if you know where that is.
Hola me encanto tu trabajo y dedicación para cada una de tus pieza, felicitaciones, saludos ,espero verlo pronto por mi blog
