Digital Synthetic oil Paint

Synthetic oil texture experimenting... Haven't been posted in a while. Things are a bit "messy" (to use more optimistic language) in this moment in my life.

I've always had trouble with colour value and pulling the levels out of, what is pretty much, a flat drawing or painting. If anyone has advice for me, please leave a comment.
