Entry for Artstorm contest week #2—Ligligan Parul Sampernandu
Christmas lanterns in San Fernando Pampanga have this distinct quality to them which makes it easy to identify from the rest. One is they are colorful and bright with beautifully choreographed dance. Yes the lights are meticulously crafted to produce an entertaining sequence of blinking and pulsing. The province of Pampanga is now known as the Christmas capital of the Philippines thanks to the craftsmen of San Fernando or locally called Sampernandu 😁
This drawing that I made somehow looks like the common Parul or lantern here. The Ligligan Parul is a contest of the best lantern in town. This had attracted local tourists during this season adding to the festivities.
