Here’s my entry for today’s “Artstorm Contest #69 Day 4 - Mother’s Week - Theme : Give jewelry.”
What a precious gift to receive your child’s picture in a locket. I have my to children in a heart shaped locket, and I really cherish it. I gave my mother several years ago, a locket for mother’s day, and I loved seeing her wear it on those special occasions when she got all dressed up to go somewhere fancy. My lovely mother is gone now, but I have that heart shaped locket, it remind me of the sweet love that we had for each other❣️

What a wonderful piece of jewellery this locket it. The silver colour is my favourite metal :)
You know silver is my favorite metal two, I’d rather wear silver than gold with my skin tone. Rick gave me a wedding band of white gold, and it looks like silver. It had a beautiful diamond in it, until the diamond fell out when I was pulling weeds from my back yard one summer. Oh well ... I guess that teaches me to not where valuable jewelry when your doing yard work. I normally wear garden gloves, but for some strange reason, I didn’t that day... Darn❣️
That kind of thing happens to me as well. It's sad to lose something precious.
