Entry for Artstorm contest week #14—brew

Brewing tea with different flavours. This is my interpretation of today's artstorm prompt. Although I have not tried brewing anything yet, I want to show as many nice details that I can to this drawing. It may not be that accurate but I hope you will enjoy reading.

Here is how I made my entry

My drawing started with the Tea bags this being a brewing theme of drawing. Then I had to position the pot in the middle and made it bigger for impact. At this line drawing stage I was thinking that this looks good already even without the base colors.

Still deciding if I will add colors, I quickly painted the background in blue giving it a wash effect which reminds me of coffee or tea stains. I like it and went full on with other colors in details.

The red flame at the bottom of the pot is intentional to give it that glowing effect. Here you see some cute details like the fruits for flavour on top of a wooden cutting board. Beside it are brewing bottles.
