Entry for Artstorm Contest # 7 -Animals'. My Country's Animals and Birds (Drawing)
This week at Artstorm we are celebrating our countries!
Hello, to all who visit this post. Well glad to participate in this contest. Thanks to @deemarshall and the support @organduo and @laputis.
I hope this is the beginning of a great friendship between us.
Returning to the theme of the contest, the design of a scene where a parrot is assembled of a turtle known in my country (Venezuela) as "Morrocoy". Why I chose them? Many of these animals occupy an important place in Venezuelan culture. In our relatives' house it is common for someone to have as "Mascota" several parrots and turtles. Parrots have the talent to emulate and learn phrases that we use on a daily basis.
What is this? What to do?
Venezuela is very varied there are many ecosystems desert, jungle, snow, savannas, beaches, grateful I am able to help my country through my words

I absolutely love this drawing. The subject and the colors seem perfectly matched and you did a great job explaining why you chose it. Please continue posting your art and helping others learn about the unique culture of your country. As for me, I don't really draw animals yet but today I was tempted to do an elephant mandala because elephants are sacred here in Thailand where I live now.
