you obviously mis read. on a local level, build you local network of 150 people.

Dunbar's number is a suggested cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships—relationships in which an individual knows who each person is and how each person relates to every other person.[1][2] This number was first proposed in the 1990s by British anthropologist Robin Dunbar, who found a correlation between primate brain size and average social group size.[3] By using the average human brain size and extrapolating from the results of primates, he proposed that humans can comfortably maintain only 150 stable relationships

Yes, I did, you're right. My thoughts were running ahead and I was thinking about a steem network. I guess I was thinking about a tribe made up of local and wider connections. The bit about knowing who each person is and how each person relates to every other person is interesting.

i'm glad i could be interesting in the middle of a week. it's important to me ;)

It's important to me too, that's why I asked. I'm sorry if I've annoyed you.

not at all. dialog is still dialog right? :)

I find it a struggle and a bit lonely sometimes, dialogue helps :)

Yeah see I’m never lonely, I guess that comes from a place of being present in my life, try meditation, it really helps focus on the living instead of existing part of being a human alive in this time.

Thanks ... I'm not lonely in my life, I'm lonely in the struggle.
Still, I have meetings lined up as part of SteemCampUK, so that's progress.

also, why do i need to think about a global network? people are obsessed with 'chaning the world' when really maybe we need to be changing ourselves first, find ya local tribe, work with them, that's potentially enough when it comes down to it.

A global network may help locally with shared ideas and inspiration.

kinda hearsay until it actually does so i think i'd rather be involved in the things i can touch and feel rather than the assumption that we have any global impact whatsoever. the biggest power we have is storytelling. i truly believe that. all stories, not just the most favorable.

i don't have trust in the word 'may' at the moment ;)

See your point ; )
