Seeing Beyond Our Eyes

Hi, I'm new here on steemit. And by new I mean I literally just started today, so I'm like fresh new.
There isn't really nothing special about me. I'm just like everyone else. And like everyone else I've been restricted by my society in many ways than one. And being a woman, especially being a woman in an African society didn't really help at all.
I want to be free to do whatever I want to do. I want to explore and live my life without the guilt of societal pressures or norms holding me down.
And on my way to such freedom, I would need friends. Friends that feel the same way I feel. Friends that would go on such life changing journey to freedom with me.
