ART EXPLOSION WEEK 38: Theme SCI-FI/ My Entry, The Super Hero of Nature
Again I am delighted to share with you my creative people.
Above all, we would like to thank our partner @juliakponsford for the opportunity and invitation to express ourselves artistically, testing our creativity and freeing our imagination, an excellent initiative!
I tell you that this is my first experience drawing with colors and it's quite relaxing, I had a lot of fun.
Now I show you the result, followed by the materials used.
Materials.
Bond paper sheet, legal size.
Box of 12 school colors (add some additional green and silver colors).
Graphite pencils (3B, HB, 4H).
Eraser.
Sharpeners.
Sketch.
He sketches a Super Hero, part human and part robot, who protects nature and who feeds himself and generates energy from the environment. His image is docile but shows his brave character in the face of what he defends.
With the HB pencil I drew the character; giving him a human face and many of his characteristics, I placed many plants, leaves, branches, a flower and chestnuts to give him the environmental effect, I robotized him by placing to the wings a kind of system fed by leaves and seeds. Since every superhero has a gun, I chose to draw him a power sword. In the background, I made a forest.
This process requires only a pencil and imagination.
When I started the sketch I thought that the result would be a graphite drawing but then I changed my mind by adding colors to it, so you can notice that the outline is too dark and/or strong to be a sketch..., then I softened the outline with an eraser and proceeded to draw.
Use the twelve (12) school colors plus one silver color and two (2) additional green colors. Start by sorting the "greens" by shade and then proceed to paint degrading each of the colors by applying from the darkest to the lightest shades, pressing the color more strongly in places with less light, also, lighten with the eraser.
