Art Explosion: Geometry Entries
@juliakponsford has created this new creative competition called #artexplosion and of course I had to get in on it.
The theme for the first challenge is geometry, and immediately I thought of some b&w photos of architecture that I've taken.
This first shot I took in Montreal quite awhile ago. This is looking down from the top of the Olympic Stadium, mixing the hard angles of the window with the strange geodesic dome covering the main stadium.
This shot I took much more recently at the Blanton Museum of Art right here in Austin, TX.
This is above the main stairwell leading up to the galleries and again the angles intersecting is very intriguing. The bright sunlight streaming in also gave this some dynamic shadows that I really enjoy.
Thanks to @juliakponsford for starting another cool creativity challenge, you can read more about how to enter in her post.
That's a really cool piece of art work.
Thanks!

Great photo of the Olympic stadium, I'm living in Montreal! Thanks for your entry :)
oh cool, I didn't even realize. It's been quite awhile since I've been there. It was much closer to me when I lived in New Hampshire than it is now that I live in Texas
