Golem flamejante

in #art4 years ago (edited)

Freedom, which is so curious and desired by everyone, even the most magical and powerful being has to be governed by greater rules to control the influence that magic can cause, does not mean that you are cut off from it, but power is scary. And me being a golem with unlimited magic to fulfill desires, it seems necessary to put some kind of chain or a brake on it. But I am free at last, and let me tell you that fulfilling all sorts of requests that any magical creature asks for is exhausting.

I don't think that being an elemental being will control me so as not to cause destruction, but I will do it so as not to be caught. I am powerful and totally free, something that in eons did not happen, I will enjoy my time and I will have enough fun while I do it, you on the contrary can continue reading the elaboration of this new commission for @smanuels.

Tools:

  • Wacom Intuos 4
  • Medibang Paint
  • Photoshop

-Step 1:

I started by sketching the idea, according to the client's specifications, this should be a golem made of a marble-like material, which is on fire and its body floats like a genius.

-Step 2:

This golem is located among the ruins of a temple without a roof, the walls of this temple are made of the same material as the golem, therefore, I can deduce that this being was formed from the fallen rock of the temple. In this sense, I started the coloring of the scene, using not very saturated tones for now, also, I made some orange lines, the veins of fire.

-Step 3:

Going into some detail, I built up the environment step by step. The most outstanding thing in any temple, are the giant columns that support the roof, so I made a couple of these columns to give a better appearance to the environment.

With my beloved oil brushes, I was building a wild fire, seeking to give a more aggressive personality to the character, likewise, detailing even more the rock of the golem's body. Once I liked what I had, I created a couple of layers configured in the fusion modes "soft light" and "overlay", with them I enhanced the luminosity of the fire.

I'll leave you a little gif with the whole process in it, so you can better appreciate the step by step.

See you in a future post!
