Yatiman explained that he began to learn 3-dimensional relief carving after he moved to Jakarta and settled in Pasar Seni Jaya Ancol, where he honed his ability to make 3-dimensional relief carvings until finally moved to the existing art workshop in Tangerang.
Currently Yatiman is busy to make 3-dimensional relief wooden artworks with the theme of the village in the country of China in one of the buildings in Tangerang, Banten.
