Clay pottery or crafts are one of the oldest traditional legacies owned by the Palestinians since centuries.

The pottery craft in Palestine is a hereditary heritage inherited by the families of the craftsmen. and Gaza Strip is the oldest city that introduced pottery crafts in Palestinian society which then spread to the city of Al khalila, tulkarem city until finally spread to all areas in Palestine.
Even in Gaza, there is a special village called "al fawakhir" village which means "pottery".
Abu Ayman 'Atthallah, a 65-year-old grandfather, a professional pottery craftsman, tells the spirit of Aqsa correspondent in Gaza that this legacy is threatened with extinction in this millennium.
