Ink history

The ink industry has known many changes over the ages, as it differs from one manufacturer to another. In the past, ink was made of carbon black and came from the combustion of oil with vegetable oil, then gum arabic was added to them, which is a solid substance that has the properties of glass, dissolved in a liquid, used to ensure that the ink was fixed on paper, as well as making it thick.

The ink has different forms, including liquid ink, paste ink, dry ink or powder ink.
Some types of insects were also added to the colored materials for writing, and animal blood was also used with ink blots.
